Join the Team! Become a volunteer during the UEFA Nations League Finals

To make the UEFA Nations League Finals (UNLF) a resounding success, we need the help of volunteers. Will you become our 12th player and want to experience this unique event up close? This is your chance!

The Dutch national team competes with Croatia, Spain and Italy for the win in the UNLF. The semi-finals will be played on Wednesday 14 (Rotterdam, De Kuip) and Thursday 15 June (Enschede, FC Twente Stadion), the final (Rotterdam, De Kuip) and the consolation final on Sunday 18 June (Enschede, FC Twente Stadion).

Because volunteers are very important to us, we guarantee that you will be well taken care of. We do this in the following ways:

• You meet many new people and get a unique look behind the scenes;
• You receive cool clothing in the style of the event;
• You get good food and drinks during the event;
• We get to know you in a personal way and will see how we can best use your talent;
• We provide an inspiring kick-off meeting;
• We organize a closing party for the efforts of the volunteers.

To help with the UEFA Nations League Finals, we ask that you:

• Volunteers are deployed either in Enschede or in Rotterdam;
• You are at least available on the match days (June 14 and 18 in Rotterdam or June 15 and 18 in Enschede). Preference is given to a wider availability around this period;
• Volunteers are at least 18 years old on May 23, 2023;
• Volunteers at least master the Dutch or English language;
• A Certificate of Behavior is requested for some positions;
• All volunteers sign the volunteer agreement;
• Travel and accommodation costs are for your own account.

Availability

You will be deployed in Rotterdam or Enschede. In the application form you can indicate which location you prefer.

Although the matches will be played on June 14, 15 and 18, the full operational period is from June 3 to June 20. This is because of all the preparations for the semi-finals and finals. Therefore, for most positions we are also requesting availability in the build-up period. The given availability from the application form will be taken into account in the selection of the volunteer group.

Long term volunteers

The organization is looking for a number of long term volunteers who will support the Volunteers Team in the run-up to the UEFA Nations League Finals with the following activities:

• Assist in the recruitment of 800 enthusiastic volunteers;
• Support in conducting all interviews with volunteers for the selection of the final volunteer group;
• Support with various kick-off activities;
• Long term Volunteers will be the part of the 'Volunteer Management' team during the operational period.

Preferably, long term volunteers will have experience volunteering in sports events.

Volunteer journey

Volunteer recruitment for the UEFA Nations League Finals will begin on January 26. Based on the application form, the volunteer will or will not be invited for a (group) interview. During the interview, the volunteer can present himself and get to know the Volunteer Team. After the interview phase, the final Volunteer Team will be selected. Training sessions (if needed) and a kick-off will be organized in the weeks leading up to the matches. Finally, the moment we live towards with the entire team; match day!
