The Netherlands will be competing for the world title in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In the group stage Oranje will take on Japan, Sweden and Tunesia in Group F. Ronald Koeman’s squad kicks off against Japan on June 14 in Dallas. This will be followed by matches against Sweden (June 20, Houston) and Tunisia (June 26, Kansas City).
For the first time, 48 countries are participating in the World Cup finals, divided into 12 groups. The top two teams from each group, plus the eight best third-place finishers, will advance to the knockout stage.
