On Thursday, June 25, ahead of the Dutch national team’s third and final group stage match against Tunisia, the Oranje Fanwalk will take place in Kansas City
Fans will begin gathering at 11:00 am local time in the bustling Power & Light District, where the Oranje Fanteam - featuring famous Dutch artist Yuki, FeestDJRuud, Yves Berendse, and artist JEA - will put on a spectacular entertainment program to get fans pumped up for what could be a decisive match day.
At 12:15 pm, the iconic Orange parade, led by the world-famous Oranjebus - which recently arrived in Texas after a long ocean voyage - will wind its way through downtown Kansas City toward the FIFA Fan Festival, where fans will get a final energy boost before heading to the stadium for the potentially decisive conclusion of the group stage.
The iconic Orange parade goes downtown Kansas City.
“It’s inspiring to see how the global sport of soccer brings fans from all over the world together in Kansas City, the Soccer Capital of America. In the United States, Kansas City is known as home to the country’s most passionate sports fans, and the Oranje supporters are among the most iconic fans in the world. We look forward to welcoming you all to the place where the original soccer celebrations began: the Kansas City Power & Light District. We also look forward to marching alongside you on the way to the match.”
President John Moncke
“We are just a few weeks away from welcoming Oranje supporters to Kansas City and experiencing the incredible passion and energy they bring to the World Cup atmosphere. We are proud that the FIFA Fan Festival Kansas City will serve as a gathering place for fans from around the world to celebrate global soccer together. We also look forward to welcoming thousands of Dutch supporters, whose enthusiasm and fan spirit will paint the Heartland orange.”
Pam Kramer, CEO of KC2026
“Kansas City is a city that breathes sports and energy, and the Oranje Fanwalk through downtown fits right in. We’re really looking forward to match day and are grateful to Kansas City for joining us in turning the city orange. Our goal is to give every fan an unforgettable experience.”
Marianne van Leeuwen, Director of Professional Soccer at the KNVB.
