On the day before the match, Friday 19 June, all Oranje fans can get into the spirit for the Netherlands v Sweden match at the Oranje Preparty hosted by the Oranje Fanteam with Yuki, FeestDJRuud, and Yves Berendse at the FIFA Fan Festival™ in East Downtown
Entry to the FIFA Fan Festival™ is free. So there’s no reason not to get in the mood for the Netherlands’ second match of this World Cup.
Please note: We expect extreme heat and high humidity in Houston. Therefore, take good care of yourself and each other. Drink plenty of water. The advice is to drink 1 liter of water per hour. Start doing this now. Regularly seek shade or a cool place to prevent overheating. In addition: apply sunscreen.
If you feel unwell, go to the side immediately and speak to a staff member, first aid responder, or steward. Local authorities have taken additional measures during the Fanwalk. There are cooling trucks on route, water refill points along the way, and cooling tents available where you can cool down.
Bring a soft plastic bottle of maximum 0.5 liter to the stadium and to the FIFA Fan Festival™. You can refill these at the water points.

On Saturday 20 June, ahead of the Netherlands v Sweden group match, the iconic Oranje Fanwalk will take place in Houston. As is tradition, this is how we kick off match day together. We’ll be meeting at Rice University at 8.00 am local time.
Between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. local time, the Oranje fan team consisting of Yuki, FeestDJRuud, Yves Berendse, and DJ NOA will provide entertainment to get the fans in the best possible mood and help them cheer on the team to the fullest.
At 8.45 am, the procession will set off together on a 4-kilometre march through the streets of Houston towards the stadium.
